Uses in the kitchen

On bread or in a sandwich

Our Cashew Cremoso with basil is perfect for a simple and tasty appetizer! Spread it on a slice of toasted bread or whole-grain crostini, and top with fresh cherry tomatoes, olives, or a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Basil adds freshness and fragrance, making it ideal for appetizers or light snacks. Try it as a creamy base in a flatbread or wrap.

As a base for sauces

The aromatic flavor of basil makes this spread perfect for cold sauces and dressings too. By thinning it with a bit of water or lemon juice, you get a light cream ideal for seasoning salads, poke bowls, or raw vegetables.

In your hot dishes

You can add it at the end of cooking to cream pasta or risotto, or use it as a filling for savory pies and rustic tarts. Its basil flavor enhances the taste of summer vegetables like zucchini, eggplant, and peppers.

In your fillings

Perfect for stuffing cannelloni, veggie lasagna, or savory crepes. Try it with a mix of spinach and walnuts for a fresh, flavorful filling — ideal for baking in the oven.
